The Role
In this newly created pivotal role, you will primarily be tasked with overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality control systems through a small team of Quality professionals. This role is central to ensuring that products meet consistent standards of quality, safety, and efficacy. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of quality assurance pertaining to product development and manufacturing. As a strategic leader, you will also play a critical role in setting and enforcing quality standards and protocols that align with industry regulations, customer expectations and best practice to ensure continuous improvement and the promotion of a high-performance culture.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing/Production or Engineering is essential.
- A Master’s degree or an advanced diploma in a specialised area related to Quality Control or Quality Assurance is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma and 5S experience and certification is mandatory.
- Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001, Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) from a recognised professional body are advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior leadership quality control or assurance role within the manufacturing industry, ideally automotive, aerospace, electronics or similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and quality control methodologies.
- Influential and inclusive leadership skills with a proven track record of creating momentum and delivering exceptional results within the company’s values of teamwork, respect, integrity and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrable project management skills with a passion for advancing quality, process improvement by winning through your team.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary will be negotiated in line with your experience. In addition, an attractive benefits package is on offer that includes a discretionary company bonus scheme, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), and generous company pension contributions.
