We’re looking for a Video Editor who can translate our story into engaging, social-first video content that resonates with our audience.


About the Role:

We’re searching for a Video Editor who knows how to strike the perfect balance—creating video content that is both compelling and conversion-driven, without feeling cold or overly pushy. This role requires someone who understands what makes people stop and watch, blending storytelling with a social-first mindset. The ideal candidate will be comfortable crafting ad content that drives results while staying relatable and on-brand for Hello Klean.

This is a role for a self-starter who can generate ideas, create storyboards, and work both independently and collaboratively with the creative and marketing teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce video content, with 80% focused on ad creation and 20% for organic social media use.
  • Craft compelling narratives from B-roll footage and user-generated content (UGC), with or without detailed briefs.
  • Conceptualise and experiment with video formats, transitions, and storytelling techniques to create engaging content for ads and social platforms.
  • Stay on top of trends across TikTok, Instagram, and Meta ads, incorporating them in ways that feel authentic to Hello Klean’s brand.
  • Develop storyboards and present creative ideas for campaigns and individual projects.
  • Ensure videos balance elevated aesthetics with approachable, sales-driven messaging.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Social-First Mindset: You understand how audiences consume content on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and know how to make videos people actually want to watch.
  • Creative Vision: Ability to independently generate ideas, storyboard concepts, and execute high-quality edits that tell a cohesive story.
  • Commercial Awareness: Proven experience creating ads that convert, with a strong grasp of what works in performance-driven marketing.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or equivalent editing tools. Motion graphics experience is a bonus.
  • Balance: Ability to create content that’s true to brand but relatable, without leaning too far into overly stylised or overly salesy territory.
  • Self-Starter: Can work independently while contributing to team collaboration, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the table.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in video editing. Prior experience in beauty, wellness, or fashion is preferred. Candidates with production backgrounds are prioritised.
