About the Role

As a Structural Engineer / Associate Director, you will take on a pivotal role within our client’s team, driving project delivery, client engagement, and team leadership. Reporting to the Directors, you’ll work on a wide variety of projects, from large-scale developments to unique, high-profile structures requiring creative engineering solutions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the structural design process from concept to delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to provide innovative and practical engineering solutions tailored to each project’s needs.
  • Oversee and mentor junior engineers, fostering professional development and upholding the company’s high standards of excellence.
  • Conduct detailed structural analysis and prepare comprehensive reports and calculations.
  • Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines to meet client expectations.
  • Contribute to business development through client relationship management and identifying new opportunities.

What We’re Looking For


  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) and professional chartership (MIStructE or MICE preferred).
  • Strong technical expertise in structural design and analysis across various materials (steel, concrete, timber, etc.).
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Experience working on projects such as multi-storey commercial buildings, residential developments, or industrial facilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ambition and a proactive approach, with a desire to grow within the company and take on greater responsibilities.
