We are proud to be recognised as:Oracle Innovation Partner of the Year 2023 (EMEA) Microsoft Global Partner of the Year (Modernising Applications) AWS Collaboration Partner of the Year (EMEA) One of the Best Workplaces for Women in the UK & Ireland (2023) With 3,500+ people and revenues exceeding €347m/£302m, Version 1 is a market leader in Oracle, Microsoft, and AWS consulting services – and one of the fastest-growing digital consultancies in Europe.Job DescriptionJunior Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant (Data Migration Focussed)Kick-start your Oracle Cloud career with Version 1 — one of Europe’s most trusted Oracle Partners.Are you looking to launch your career in Oracle Cloud technology?At Version 1, we’re delivering some of the UK’s largest and most complex Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation programmes — and we’re looking for technically minded, motivated individuals to join our expanding Oracle team.As a Junior Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant, you’ll play a key role in data migration — helping move critical business data from legacy systems into Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM Cloud.Working alongside senior technical consultants and data leads, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the full data migration lifecycle, from data mapping and cleansing through to load execution and reconciliation.You’ll also be introduced to key Oracle technologies such as CloudBridge (Version 1 proprietary tool), FBDI, HDL, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) — developing the foundation for a future career in Oracle Cloud data, integration, or technical consulting.Key ResponsibilitiesData MigrationSupport the design, build, and execution of data migration activities into Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and HCM.Assist in preparing data mapping sheets and transformation logic using standard templates (e.g. CV040, Data Migration Catalogue).Execute and monitor data loads using CloudBridge, FBDI, and HDL templates under senior supervision.Validate and reconcile data between source and target systems, highlighting discrepancies for resolution.Support data cleansing, enrichment, and pre-load validation activities.Maintain migration logs, documentation, and load reports in line with programme governance.Contribute to cutover rehearsals and post-load verification exercises.IntegrationAssist in configuring or testing inbound and outbound data flows using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Support data extraction and file handling via SFTP, Object Storage, and other OCI components.Gain exposure to REST/SOAP API connections between Fusion SaaS and external systems.ReportingSupport the generation of validation and reconciliation reports using BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI.Assist in preparing simple analytical dashboards or exception reports under guidance from reporting teams.Governance & QualityFollow established development and documentation standards, ensuring traceability and audit readiness.Participate in data validation reviews and quality checks.Support defect tracking and resolution during SIT, UAT, and Dress Rehearsal cycles.Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of data migration practices.Why Join UsJoin a collaborative delivery team working on flagship Oracle Cloud transformation programmes across the UK public sector.Gain hands-on experience with CloudBridge, OIC, and Oracle Fusion Data Migration frameworks.Learn directly from senior Architects, Data Leads, and Integration Specialists.Access structured mentorship, continuous learning, and certification support.Clear career path toward Senior Technical Consultant, Integration Specialist, or Data Lead roles.QualificationsRequired Skills & ExperienceYou Will HaveExperience in Oracle Cloud or related technical environments (ERP or HCM preferred).Basic understanding of data migration concepts and ETL processes.Hands-on exposure to SQL/PLSQL, Excel-based data mapping, and data validation techniques.Familiarity with FBDI and HDL templates for Oracle Fusion data loads.Awareness of Oracle Fusion data structures (e.g. AP, AR, PO, GL, HR, Payroll).Interest in learning CloudBridge, OIC, and related OCI services (Object Storage, ATP/ADW).Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced delivery environment.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Desirable SkillsYou will have:Exposure to Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), BIP, or OTBI reporting tools.Awareness of ETL accelerators, and related automation utilities.Knowledge of public-sector project environments or UK Gov Cloud frameworks.Basic understanding of data security and governance principles.Oracle or technical certifications (OCA/OCP or Cloud Foundations) are advantageous.Additional InformationWhy Version 1?Strong career progression & mentorship through our Strength in Balance and leadership programmes, including quarterly Pathways Career Development reviews.
