One of our major clients, an award winning plumbing and drainage company, is looking to recruit a maintenance scheduler to be based out of their busy office in Sidcup, Kent. As a company, they work with a number of commercial clients including leading retailers, hotels, restaurant chains, and facilities management companies. They are always looking to deliver the best possible customer experience and this position is key to helping the business provide that level of service. The maintenance scheduler's main role will be planning, booking and managing reactive and planned works, making sure the engineers are attending sites and dealing with the jobs in an efficient and timely manner. Day to day tasks will also include recording start times to ensure engineers are getting to their first jobs on time and preparing handovers at the end of the day for the on-call team. Other duties will include making sure the engineers are completing RAMS and getting permits to carry out works and checking materials have been delivered. Applicants for this role must be able to meet the following criteria:Previous experience of maintenance planning Basic engineering understandingAble to work under pressureGood communication skills, both written and verbalSelf-motivated, flexible, and resourcefulAble to work as part of a team and on own initiativeGood level of IT skillsGood time managementOrganised and forward thinkingGood geographical knowledge
