You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance on new and existing equipment. While a background in food manufacturing is preferred, the client is open to candidates with transferable skills and a positive, proactive attitude. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure that all plant, equipment, and site services are maintained and repaired in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner, maximizing plant efficiency. You will also help manage the engineering resource and ensure compliance with all current codes of practice, standards, and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities ·Maintain all equipment and plant to the highest standards. ·React promptly and efficiently to breakdowns. ·Perform PLC fault finding to input and output level. ·Resolve issues highlighted by in-house HACCP audits. ·Respond to out-of-hours calls for breakdowns as required. ·Improve machine reliability through planned preventative maintenance. ·Troubleshoot electrical equipment effectively.
