CompanyThis superb UK manufacturing company with staff numbers over 100+ and growing, provides various engineered products and equipment to the Construction & Facilities Management industries, specifically environmental solutions that are utilized extensively within Commercial Buildings across the UK. Whilst their products may be technical, we do not require someone from a technical background. Whilst this is beneficial and desirable, training will be provided and given. Others in the team have not come from a technical background and love the job they do. Whilst working in a rather large company, it is a small, young, dynamic and loyal team of 7 staff members. ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Sales Office Manager you will be a key member of the Team. You will be responsible for generating new enquiries and developing customer relationships, progressing projects to order, and providing quotes and technical advice for customer accounts within an agreed territory.Acting as first point of contact for all sales enquiries and orders received via phone and email, in a timely and professional manner.Processing sales orders with accuracy and efficiency ensuring proper configuration, pricing and delivery scheduling.Taking ownership for the entire life cycle of the order and project, act as liaison between departments. Throughout the project, you will be responsible for on-going and regular calls to the customers. Provide quotations and communicate with other tendering companies. Having commercial awareness to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised.Produce quotes with accuracy and clarity to ensure that a suitable solution is offered to customers.Partake in customer meetings (In person/Via Teams/Via Phone) to discuss project particulars with a view to securing business. Ensure all quotes are followed up within three days of issue to gain quote feedback (Suitability, pricing, competition) and insight into the project (Such as time scale, stage etc).Work towards increasing the number of Key Accounts.Prepare a monthly forecast to assist with production planning and to maintain awareness of the business pipeline.Work towards KPI's to maintain productivity and meet objectives. RequirementsHiring manager is open and negotiable to the background and experience. Ideally in ANY of the following; internal sales, customer service, account management, sales, call center etc. Confident with good communication skills to liaise with customers. Self-motivated - The more motivated and active you are within your role, the more success you have in the company.Driven, passionate, enthusiastic and hunger for success.Candidates must be comfortable with talking to customers over the phone, outbound calling is an essential part of the role. - having any of this experience is most ideal.
