Our client, a boutique financial services firm, is seeking a skilled AWS & Python Engineer to join their team for an Aladdin implementation project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical initiative in a hybrid work environment across London and the West Midlands.


Role Overview:

  • Position: AWS & Python Engineer (Aladdin Implementation)
  • Location: Hybrid (London/West Midlands) – onsite as required by the client
  • Rate: £600-£650 per day (Inside IR35 via umbrella)
  • Duration: Initial 6 months, with potential for extension or permanent placement


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize Aladdin products.
  • Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure and applications using Python.
  • Ensure seamless data integration and transformation through ETL/ELT processes.


Key Skills Required:

  • Proven experience with Aladdin implementations in a financial services or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Strong AWS experience, including S3, Lambda, Athena, Glue, Step Functions, and Event Bus.
  • Familiarity with API development (REST, RPC, SOAP).
  • Solid understanding of SQL for data management and querying.
