Are you an experienced paralegal looking for an exciting interim role? We are recruiting for a highly-regarded financial institution seeking an Interim Paralegal to join their legal team based in London. This position is for an initial 6 month period with the potential for extension.

About the Role

As a key member of the legal team, you will provide critical support in the review, drafting, and negotiation of various legal documents, including:

  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
  • Reliance/Release Letters
  • Other transactional documents related to front-office deals and joint ventures

You will also assist with broader legal matters, including reviewing legal opinions, powers of attorney, conditions precedent, and corporate documentation. Working closely with both legal and front-office teams across multiple jurisdictions, you will ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations to mitigate legal risks effectively.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications: A degree in law and/or substantial paralegal experience in a reputable law firm, bank, financial institution, or corporate environment.
  • Experience: Ideally, you'll have worked on transactional banking, leveraged finance, fund finance, or similar finance/corporate matters. Experience in reviewing NDAs, legal opinions, POAs, and corporate authorisations is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong drafting and negotiation abilities
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks (5-10 matters concurrently)
    • A commercial mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
