Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Shift-Based RoleThis role involves working a shift-based schedule on a 4-week cycle, including 12-hour shifts (2 days and 2 nights rotation). Shifts run from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.ResponsibilitiesAs a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be an essential part of the operations team, responsible for delivering effective and efficient maintenance to keep our manufacturing facility operational 24/7. Key tasks include:Performing routine maintenance to ensure plant critical systems and equipment function optimally.Enhancing equipment performance and reliability through proactive maintenance and repair.Conducting first-line fault finding and diagnostics.Supporting Operations Improvement and Transformation projects.Working on a variety of manufacturing and utility systems to maintain high-quality standards for automotive products.QualificationsBasic Requirements:Proven experience in practical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.Completion of an Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 3 or National Certificate in an Electrical/Instrumentation discipline.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks in a busy environment.Familiarity with computer-based maintenance planning systems.Ability to work effectively under pressure.Preferred Qualifications:HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.Experience with PLC systems, particularly Siemens.BenefitsCompetitive salary up to £42k DOE, plus a shift allowance of £8,182.Fidelity Pension.BUPA Private Medical.Life Assurance.Employee Assistance Programme.25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.If this position is of interest, please contact  today RE Recruitment act as an employment agency on behalf of the employer.
