With a legacy spanning over 70 years, our expertise lies in crafting sustainable and economically sensible products through cutting-edge injection mould technology, automation, and robotics.We are now looking for an Injection Moulding Technician to join our friendly team on a permanent, full-time basis, operating on a rotating shift pattern.Shifts run from 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 6am, from Monday to Friday. This includes stripping down tools and setting up runs after a tool change, conducting quality checks and maintaining machine parameters.Additionally, you will assist the operators with their day-to-day activities.About YouTo be considered as an Injection Moulding Technician, you will need:- Strong tool setting experience on larger machines (ideally Engel and Krauss Maffei up to 2,700 tonnes) - Good communication skills - To be qualified to IMT Level 3 or equivalentPlease note, this role will involve heavy manual work.*Pay includes basic pay for 40 hours, plus 10% extra guaranteed earnings for mandatory extra hours (average of two per week).Other organisations may call this role IM Setter, Process Technician, Moulding Technician, Injection Mould Operator, Workshop Technician, Injection Moulding Setter, Assembly Technician, Plastic Injection Moulding Tool Setter Operator, or Injection Moulding Maintenance Technician.Webrecruit and George Utz Ltd. are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
