You will be responsible for inspecting homes, diagnosing issues related to damp and mould, and recommending effective solutions to improve living conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed surveys of properties to identify damp and mould issues. Diagnose root causes and provide accurate reports with remedial recommendations. Liaise with residents, contractors, and project managers to ensure clear communication. Ensure compliance with health and safety and housing standards. Maintain accurate documentation and photographic evidence.RequirementsPrevious experience as a damp and mould surveyor (social housing experience preferred). Strong knowledge of building pathology and moisture-related issues. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Relevant qualifications (e.g., PCA Damp & Timber, or equivalent) desirable.
