We are currently seeking a compassionate physician associate with primary care experience to work ad-hoc or long term shifts, in and around the Bristol area.Physician Associate requirements and qualifications: * Must have either PG diploma or MSC * Excellent communication skills * Must have experience in a Primary care setting * Has passed UK physician associate national re-certification exam * Participates in continuing professional development - CPD * Able to work efficiently, while adapting to different environmentsA bit about the role: * Provide first point of contact care for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems by utilizing history taking, physical examination and clinical decision making skills to establish a working diagnosis and management plan with the patient. * Support management of patient's conditions through specialized clinics including but not limited to - Family planning, baby checks, COPD, Asthma, diabetes and anticoagulation. * Provide health and disease promotion and prevention advice alongside analyzing and actioning diagnostic test results. * Participate in duty rotas, undertaking face to face, telephone and online consultations for emergency or routine problems as determined by the PCN , including management of patients with LTC. * Undertake home visits when required. * Utilize clinical guidelines and promote evidence based practice and partake in clinical audits, significant event reviews and other research and analysis.If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, apply now and a member of our team will get back to you shortly
