The businesss is a privately owned contractor that have a track record in delivering Commercial, Industrial & Retail, with projects ranging in value from £1m up to £20m.They are a progressive and forward-thinking business in their approach and have a strategic growth plan in place to increase their turnover for the next 5 year and can offer the opportunity to progress in your career quickly.Role:Due to growth, they are looking to strengthen to strengthen their team with a Health and Safety advisor. As a Health and Safety advisor, you will play a vital role in establishing and implement SHE practives across the company.Your responsibilities include maintaining and improving management systems and providing support to the Managing Director in all areas relating to health, safety, environment, and quality.Key Responsibilities: * Develop positive relationships across all levels of the organization. * Work with the Managing Director to implement HSQE initiatives. * Oversee HSQE management to raise operational standards. * Conduct audits and inspections, managing corrective actions for continuous improvement. * Monitor, review, and improve management systems for compliance and continual improvement. * Provide training and coaching to operational teams. * Identify and manage operational and regulatory risks. * Compile reports to inform on audit findings and incident trends.Key Requirements: * Managing Health and Safety qualification (preferably NEBOSH or similar).Your role will be office based with the occasional site visit.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity, please speak with Fabio at Edge Careers or please apply with your CV
