As part of the Risk & Control Health team youll be responsible for conducting technical assessments of our risk and control environment developing data-driven insights and creating dynamic dashboards to represent our risk and control health. This role is critical in ensuring Stripe maintains robust risk management and compliance through data-backed analysis and continuous improvement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills in data analysis and alongside subject matter expertise in risk and compliance to drive impactful improvements in Stripes risk and control environment. Youll play a crucial role in enhancing our ability to identify assess and mitigate risks across the organization.Location: We are open to applicants in the UK Dublin and Canada.ResponsibilitiesData Pipeline and Dashboard Development:Create and maintain dynamic dashboards that provide real-time insights into overarching risk assessments and control healthContinuously refine and optimize data visualization techniques to enhance understanding of risk and control statusRisk and Control Health Analysis:Produce comprehensive risk assessments and control health analyses by compiling data at the macro level and digging into code bases to understand individual controlsAggregate and monitor testing results to identify trends and patterns in risk and control effectivenessUse overarching assessments to guide deeper investigations into individual controls creating a continuous feedback loop for improvementTechnical Control Assessment and Testing:Conduct rigorous technical testing of individual controls leveraging your expertise in data analysisIdentify compliance control deficiencies assess their impact and draw appropriate conclusionsLeverage emerging technologies to facilitate speed dynamism and accuracy in risk and control testing and assessmentsReporting and Communication:Deliver reporting on test outputs to key compliance and cross-functional stakeholdersClearly communicate complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesContribute to Top Risk Reporting providing data-driven insights on critical risk areasContinuous Improvement:Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in risk assessment and data analysisStay up to date with Stripes product and business expansion in order to update data dashboards and control assessments in line with these changesWho you areWere looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus not a requirement.Minimum requirements3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field preferably in the fintech or financial services sectorStrong technical skills including proficiency in data analysis SQL and comfort working with LLM and AI technologiesExperience in designing and developing metrics that effectively communicate risk and control narratives enabling data-driven decision-making across the organizationExperience with data visualization tools and creating dashboardsSolid understanding of risk management principles control frameworks and compliance areasExcellent analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insightsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reportingEffective communication skills able to explain technical concepts to various stakeholdersProactive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentRequired Experience:IC Key Skills ISO 27001,Microsoft Access,Risk Management,Financial Services,PCI,Risk Analysis,Analysis Skills,COBIT,NIST Standards,SOX,Information Security,Data Analysis Skills Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
