Bookkeeper – Derry area | Part Time

Reed Accountancy and Finance is pleased to be working with a highly successful, Derry based organisation, involved in construction and property development.

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join on a part-time, permanent basis.

Offering a competitive salary, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing the following duties:

  • Maintenance of computerised bookkeeping system
  • Oversee operation of purchases and sales ledgers
  • Monitor credit control
  • Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
  • Completion and submission of Quarterly UK/EU VAT returns/reclaims
  • Completion and submission of filings to VAT and RCT
  • Other administrative duties as required.

Essential experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Accounts Assistant with a variation of role functions
  • IT Proficient to include accountancy packages

Desirable experience

  • Experience within the Construction sector
