A law firm is seeking a freelance application developer with expertise in Excel automation to streamline the process of generating client invoices from Toggl Track exports. The primary objective is to develop a robust Excel template that automates the workflow from importing Toggl Detailed Reports to producing professional, client-ready invoices. The solution should minimize manual intervention, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in invoice creation. The project requires a quick turnaround and clear user guidance to ensure seamless adoption by the team.Deliverables Design and build an Excel template that enables easy import of Toggl Track Detailed Report exports (.xlsx format). Implement automated data cleaning and formatting processes within Excel to prepare time-tracking data for invoicing. Develop calculations for total hours and billable amounts per project, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Create a pre-formatted invoice sheet that auto-populates with relevant client and project details. Integrate a VBA-powered button to refresh calculations, generate invoices, and export them as PDFs. Provide clear documentation or a concise video walkthrough demonstrating how to use the template and its features. Ensure the solution is user-friendly and can be operated by non-technical staff.Requirements Proven experience in Excel automation, including advanced use of VBA and Power Query. Strong understanding of data processing, transformation, and reporting within Excel. Ability to design intuitive, professional invoice templates suitable for legal or professional services. Experience integrating data from third-party sources (such as Toggl Track) into Excel workflows. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free outputs. Strong communication skills for providing clear documentation or video instructions. Availability to complete the project within 3–5 days, with an estimated workload of 5–7 hours.
