As we look to continually grow our team we encourage those from all backgrounds to apply for our vacancies.Due to the nature of this role, regular travel to client sites and lodging away may be required to suit the businesses needs.Working hours are 7am - 3pm, call out duties are done on a weekly rota.ResponsibilitiesGeneral Mechanical dutiesInstallation of mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, bearingsFitting of steel support systemsFault finding on mechanical equipmentWorks can be varied and at times may be required to undertake other duties such as assisting an Electrician or Civils engineerResponsibility for the use of a company vanWill work away from home on occasions when travelling is not in the best interest of the company, (this will tend to be Monday – Friday, weekends back home)Implement all of the company’s rules or procedures within the Health and Safety Policy that are appropriate to the activities being undertaken.Understand and sign onto all CPP/RAMS on Site and follow Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and rules on Site.Think Safety in mind at all times to look after yourself and your colleagues.Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience as a Mechanical FitterMechanical apprenticeship trained or level 3 equivalent in a similar fieldConfined Space trainedExperience on water treatment sites e.g. sewage plants, pumping stations (desirable)CSCS Card HolderFirst Aid trained (Desirable)Health & Safety trained (IOSH) (Desirable)
