Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Encourage teamwork, fair play, and personal development among students
  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive sports lessons for all primary year groups
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum
  • Organise and oversee sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities
  • Foster a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards physical activity
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during sports activities

Must Have:

  • Available Monday - Friday, 5 days a week
  • Hold an Enhanced Child DBS within the last 2 years, or be willing to obtain one through Engage Education
  • Proven experience as a Sports Coach or similar role, ideally within a primary school setting
  • A strong passion for sports and physical education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
  • Relevant coaching qualifications and certifications
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture
