Proactive Personnel are looking to recruit an Assembly Fitter for our client in ShrewsburyAs an Assembly Fitter your duties will include: * Carry out mechanical building, modification and repair of company products to customer exact specifications * Carry out fault diagnoses on all company products and related components * Dismantle all types of product and components, clean and prepare to the standard ready for rebuilding * Replace all relevant parts as appropriate to ensure products are professionally repaired and put back into running order * Ensure all machine settings are correct and relevant testing is completed before machines are despatched * Advise management on all aspects of mechanical engineering requirements as appropriate * Ensuring standards of housekeeping and tidiness are achieved and maintained at all timesThe successful Assembly Fitter will require: * The ability to read and interpret drawings for specific machinery * 3-5 years’ experience with special purpose machinery * Flexibility within role * A strong team playerBenefits for you * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Company pension * On-site parking * Salary raising to £28,000 after successful probation periodIf interested please apply today or call Helen Green at Proactive Personnel, Shrewsbury
