Description Job PurposeWorking in connection with NEXT and the Victorias Secret Retail Team the Concession Manager is responsible for driving and maximising sales and profitability across our Northern or Southern Concession business and building consistent brand execution across each addition theConcession Partner will lead on the opening of new concessions and refresh programmes of existing concessions.Car & driver license requiredTravel required to stores across UK & IREOvernight stays may be requiredPrimary ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Victorias Secret Concessions & 3rd Party Area Manager to deliver the concession strategyidentifying opportunities to grow the business and improve performanceVisit concessions daily checking the sales floor to ensure brand guidelines are followed and stock levels and marketing are alignedConduct stockroom checks to ensure the correct lines and appropriatedepth of stock are available on the sales floors.Partner with the relevant NEXT Senior Store Management teams to ensure that the VS concessions business is prioritised and receiving the support required to ensure its successEnsuring that commercial visual and operational opportunities across concessions are always maximisedTraining best VS practices to build knowledge and confidence of Next store staffResponsible for delivering the P&L plan and KPIs for the concessions format focussing on owning controllable costs and maximising sales and profitabilityUse data and statistical analysis to challenge and influence NEXT and the Victorias Secret business to make strategic decisions to build the concessions business including but not limited to costs layout product marketing & visual presentationsPartner with the relevant NEXT Retail teams to ensure the day to day execution of brand and visual merchandising standards across all concessionsPartner with the Victorias Secret Merchandising team to ensure that existing and future product assortments are maximised to ensure the success of sales and profitability targets in each format/concessionSupport the Concessions & 3rd Party Area Manager with the concession refresh programme working with Victorias Secret Retail and Merchandising teams to ensure a seamless execution of all changes whilst maximising commercial performance and minimising disruption to employees customers and tradeBuild a concessions environment that places customer experience at its core seeking new ways to develop the format to create a better experience and connection with the Victorias Secret customerTake proactive actions to minimise the risks and loss to the concessions P&L performance e.g. loss preventionBuild knowledge of current retail industry trends sharing competitive insights to help build the Victorias Secret concessions strategySkills and ExperienceExperience in a fast paced retail environment at Management level with a record of maximising sales and profitExperience with retail operations visual merchandising budgeting planning and salesAccountability for managing company projects ensuring the end result achieves a positive outcomeCreative with an ability to think differently to come up with and implement new business solutions and ideasAbility to analyse data and present back to senior leadership teamsStrong interpersonal skills that can be used to lead teams and build and develop valued relationships across the businessAbility to liaise with both junior and senior store and field leadersAdaptable and flexible with the ability to deliver results personally and through othersLeadswith integrity honesty and an approach that is aligned to the company valuesEmbraces change and open to new ideas and ways of workingResilient and resourceful with a creative nature when working on projects and designing incentivesStrong organisational and planning skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detailCan demonstrate a high standard of integrity and discretionThe above responsibilities are an overview of the role and its responsibilities the list is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be required from time to time.Required Experience:Contract Key Skills Internship,Data Warehousing,Adobe Flash,Database Administration,Logistics Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
