This is an exciting opportunity to work onstate-of-the-art waterjet systemsfor a key OEM in the marine industry, supporting major MOD clients' vessels including: Coastguard and Police boats Royal Navy Pacific Fleet vessels Workboats Fast Ferries The role involves frequent travel, typically in5-day assignments , with most weekends spent at home. As a Service Engineer, you will act as the company'son-site representative , providing hands-on support to customers, distributors, and service agents. Key Responsibilities -Service Engineer - Marine Propulsion As a Service Engineer, you will act as thecompany's on-site representativeacross the EMEA region. Your responsibilities will include: Deliveringtechnical support on-site and remotely , ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Conductingdetailed inspections , producing comprehensive reports with clear recommendations. Completingrefurbishment and repair works , including mechanical and electronic systems, following customer approval. Recommending parts replacements and associated costs, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Performingfault finding and troubleshootingon complex propulsion and control systems. Deliveringtraining sessionsfor customers and service agents, using hands-on methods and supporting PowerPoint presentations. Ensuring all work is performedsafely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and client procedures . Knowledge & Skills -Service Engineer - Marine Propulsion Strong knowledge ofhydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical controls . ( Thrusters & Water Jet propulsion systems ) Ability toread and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical drawings . Excellentreport writing and communication skills . Willingness totravel across the UK and internationally . Qualifications -Service Engineer - Marine Propulsion FullUK driving licence . Validpassport .
