EduTalent Group is delighted to be partnering with an exceptional SEN School in Canterbury to recruit a dedicated and inspiring Class Teacher for a mixed-year group. This role starts in January and is a temp-to-perm opportunity.You will teach students aged 719 delivering a differentiated curriculum tailored to a range of SEN. Working closely with Teaching Assistants and school leadership you will create a safe inclusive and engaging classroom environment. Your role will support both the academic and emotional development of students including teaching accredited courses up to GCSE level.Key responsibilities include:Plan resource and deliver engaging lessons for a range of abilitiesSupervise and support Teaching Assistants in the classroomPromote high standards of behaviour and learningAssess student progress and set personalised learning targetsCollaborate with leadership on schemes of work and interventionsCommunicate effectively with parents and carersContribute to school culture through supervision and extracurricular activitiesEnsure compliance with safeguarding health & safety and behaviour policiesRequirements Essential:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience teaching 719-year-oldsExperience supporting children with a range of SENStrong classroom management and lesson planning skillsICT competence and confidence using digital toolsCommitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfareDesirable:Experience working in SEN or alternative provisionKnowledge of the Steiner Waldorf curriculumExperience delivering extracurricular activitiesExperience supporting pupils with behavioural challengesBenefitsCompetitive salary depending on experienceTerm-time only (MondayFriday)6 INSET days per yearOngoing CPD including behaviour support and SEN-specific trainingSupportive and collaborative team cultureOpportunity to make a real impact on the lives of students with SENCreative and flexible curriculum within an inclusive educational environmentRequired Skills:PGCE QTSRequired Education:TeacherPrimary TeacherTeachingQTSPGCE Key Skills Change Management,Airport Security,Bid Management,Biomedical,Arbitration Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Daily Salary Salary: 168 - 261
