NJR Recruitment are delighted to be supporting this highly successful business in their recruitment of an Account Handler to join our client’s specialist Motor Trade team. The Account Handler position will be purely focused on existing business, working closely with Account Executives to support clients with their renewals and mid-term adjustments.

The Account Handler opportunity will suit somebody ideally with Motor Trade insurance experience; however, we are also happy to consider individuals from any motor insurance broking background who possess the right attitude and work ethic.

The primary focus of the Account Handler position is to ensure client retention is high through providing a high-quality broking service, ensuring clients receive the cover requisite to their needs at the best rates possible.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaising and negotiating with insurers to pick up the best renewal rates for customers covering their insurance requirements as well as handling mid-term adjustments.
  • Generating documents for customers regarding their insurance needs.
  • Recording all details swiftly and accurately onto the Acturis system.
  • Dealing with queries from insurers regarding customers’ policies.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven insurance experience is essential, ideally within Motor Trade however experience of other Motor classes will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work towards deadlines.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and ability to complete work to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office systems.
