Go2 People are working on behalf of their client to find the right person for the role.In the role of Commis Chef your duties will include:Preparing and serving foodWorking with all members of the kitchen team in a friendly mannerEnsuring cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen at all timesComplying with all food safety and health and safety guidelinesWorking the starter section with covers around 150 at lunchPreparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishesTo be successful in the role of Commis Chef * At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role * Ability to produce good quality food * Understanding of health and safety * Understanding of food hygiene practices * High level of attention to detail * Good level of numeracy Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you * Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work * Positive and approachable mannerThis is a full time temporary position which could turn permanent for the right person. Working 5 days per week and never over 50 hours a week. On an hourly rate of £15, plus holiday pay.Benefits * There is on site shared accommodation or your own accommodation just a 15 minute drive away. * Discounted or free food * On-site parking
