My client is searching for a Court of Protection Paralegal to join their Sale, Trafford, Greater Manchester offices.Key Purpose of Role• To provide cost-effective administrative and secretarial support to the partner and other senior fee-earners in the team in the work of the department• Undertake certain elements of fee-earning work under supervision but not as a designated matter handler.Key Responsibilities• Providing paralegal support to the Court of Protection Team• Supporting existing Paralegal with client unoccupied property inspections• Attending on client property clearances, lock changes• Liaising with estate agents and other professionals• Preparing detailed and accurate file notesDesirable skills• Fee Earning Experience• Court of Protection Experience• Experience using Proclaim or a case management system• Ability to keep Accurate time recording• Ability to prepare accurate and detailed file notes• Experience dealing with vulnerable clientsMiscellaneous• Carry out any other duties as appropriate to the nature of the post as required• Attend staff and departmental meetings as required• Undergo such training as might be appropriate for the role• Uphold the aims and principles of all the firm’s policies• This list is not exhaustive and may varyBenefits• 25 days annual leave plus 1 day for birthday and 8 Bank holidays• A contributory pension scheme• Cycle to work scheme• tech scheme• healthcare cash plan• flexible working hoursShould you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment.Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
