ICS issues products to our Consumer and Commercial customers the organization is an integral part of the global growth strategy for American Express; offering differentiated products and services is critical to our success and promises to drive significant growth and value through the delivery of innovative products tailored to the needs of our organization helps our international businesses manage risk respond to new regulation and develop new products while creating and nurturing effective partnerships across multiple key stakeholders across the organisation.To support this objective the Enterprise Anti Money Laundering (AML) team is delivering on the Know Your Business and Customer (KYB / C) Refresh programme for our Issuing Legal Entity (Small Business Services and Corporate) base.Joining the Issuing eRefresh programme this role will focus on delivering an effective process to refresh our Legal Entities and their associates ensuring the implementation of:High quality robust and sustainable processes delivered with effective controls and rigorous business testing.An optimized client experience and servicing strategy.Strong business governance and accountability.Reporting into the Director Issuing LE Refresh key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Translating business expectations into executable work.Supporting process and procedure design up to and including implementation.Planning monitoring and delivering against project milestones and deliverables.Managing risks and issues that arise from the projectDay-to-day management of internal and external teams engaged to support refresh.Preparing materials for steering committees and other senior leadership updates.This UK based role is an exciting development opportunity for a project manager with knowledge of the issuing business to join our teamMinimum QualificationsDriving of results against fluid and aggressive timelines.Adaptability in fast-paced environmentPrioritising of multiple initiatives simultaneously to achieve and overall result.Attention to detail specifically able to upkeep detailed documentation.Relationship building gaining trust quickly to deliver value.Clear communication and influencing skills with an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders of various seniority.Challenging the status-quo to drive incremental improvementsPrior experience with AML/KYC or other regulatory environment is preferred.Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the UK is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
