Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Layout of highly integrated PCBs and working with other teams to ensure layouts are optimised for performance, EMC and manufacture * Creating new component symbols and footprints and helping with library management * Updating designs to improve manufacturability and testabilityThe Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following: * A HNC /HND or Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline. Or be a Time Served Engineer with relevant experience. * Proficient user skills with one or more modern PCB CAD tools, including good working knowledge of using Altium Designer * Knowledge and experience of design for manufacture and test * Design review experience for schematics and layoutsYou will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of between £40,000 to £48,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits plus excellent prospects and an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.Do you have the courage to take on this challenge?
