Building Surveyor APC Waterloo, London £30,000 - £45,000 per annum + discretionary bonus A vibrant, award-winning building consultancy based in Central London is seeking a Graduate or Intermediate Building Surveyor to join its expanding team. You will be joining a close-knit team of surveying professionals who take pride in delivering an exceptional service to their clients. The Role This role offers the opportunity to undertake a full range of building surveying duties while working closely with senior team members. You will gain hands on project experience and be supported as you work towards Chartered status. Key Responsibilities: Assisting senior surveyors with day-to-day project delivery Contract administration (projects up to £3.5m + VAT) Insurance reinstatement projects Planned maintenance surveys Preparing design and specification documents Condition surveys and defect diagnosis Licences for Alterations Party Wall matters Pre-acquisition surveys Project management and Employers Agent duties Reinstatement Cost Assessments Supporting client relationships and service delivery Contributing to new and repeat business opportunities Managing smaller projects with growing responsibility over time Ongoing CPD participation Essential Requirements: RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree (or equivalent) Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word & Excel Good understanding of construction, building pathology, and health & safety Knowledge of Building Safety ACT 2022 Desire to progress within a consultancy environment Commitment to achieving RICS Chartered status Strong communication and teamwork skills Professional, well-presented, and confident in asking questions Willingness to travel when required Desirable: Experience using AutoCAD or similar software Previous industry experience (e.g., placement year or work experience) Full, clean driving licence (advantageous but not essential) Within one hours commute of Waterloo Salary & Benefits: Salary: £30,000£45,000 (DOE) Bonus: Discretionary, based on company performance Holiday: 28 days including public holidays & Xmas shut down Private Health Insurance (post-probation) Pension Scheme (post-probation) Bike to Work Scheme Training & Professional Development You will join a structured RICS APC training programme offering: Assigned APC supervisor Quarterly reviews Support from an external APC consultant Regular CPD sessions, seminars, and training days Opportunities to pursue memberships (FPWS, TPI, CSCS) APC Training Agreement and guided study commitments This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain high-quality experience and become a Chartered Building Surveyor in a well-supported environment.Building surveyor| APC training| structured support| residential| commercial| JCT| NEC| contract administration| project management| project monitoring| party wall matters| design specification| licence for alterations| reinstatement cost assessment| employers agent| planned maintenance programme| refurbishment|TPBN1_UKTJ
