WTG Jacket T&I Lead Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in England.


Responsibilities
  1. Report to the T&I Work Package Manager (WPM) for Mona and Morgan projects and Deputy T&I WPM.
  2. Support the T&I WPM and Deputy WPM in the technical management of the JKT T&I scope.
  3. Be specifically responsible for the safe and efficient technical execution of the JKT T&I works.
  4. Ensure that the JKT T&I contractor technically execute the works as per the quality standards set up within the Projects.
  5. Interface closely with the EPC work packages and eventually with the Port development work package, defining the T&I Contractor requirements, planning and mapping the load out sequence, and transfers of custody between different parties involved.
  6. Efficiently interface with all other technical work packages (OSP, WTG, IAC, Geo, etc.) and other internal stakeholders regarding the JKT scope specific requirements.
  7. Take on the technical leading role with the T&I Contractors during the bid phase, clarification, negotiation phase, and contract execution phase.
  8. Work directly with the relevant work stream managers to review the setup for installation in conjunction with the programme, consenting application and discharge, and HSE UK regulations.
  9. Provide valuable input in the evaluation and costing of development and execution projects (CAPEX) and prepare tender documents while supporting contract negotiations.

Requirements
  1. A master's degree or the equivalent in engineering or industrial engineering.
  2. A proven 10 years track record in working with/in cross-functional teams in offshore construction projects and effective stakeholder management.
  3. A good understanding and working knowledge of large-scale energy projects in the offshore energy sector, preferably in Offshore Wind.
  4. Practical experience in marine logistics including marshalling and loadouts, especially transport and installation of heavy structures for offshore projects.
  5. Essential knowledge on JKT related scopes and required operations, including JKT T&I and pile driving experience.
  6. Fluency in Business English; German is a plus.
  7. Effective in multi-stakeholder relationship building, demonstrated by effective presentation, communication, negotiation skills, persuasiveness, assertiveness, and teamwork attitude.
  8. Ability and willingness to travel are crucial for being a member of the team operating across different locations, including London (office based 3 days a week minimum).
  9. Offshore trips and support will be a requirement.
