After staff salaries this is Save the Childrens largest area of expenditure playing a critical role in enabling our programmes and advocacy work to deliver impact for children.We are committed to delivering:Compliant and efficient procurementA strong commercial mindsetA focus on sustainability and service excellenceThis is supported by:Sector-leading policies and proceduresComprehensive training programmesA pioneering supplier sustainability initiativeAn award-winning Source-to-Pay technology platformStrategic Sourcing TeamThe Strategic Sourcing Team is a core part of Procurement responsible for shaping and implementing sourcing strategies across all office locations.Key responsibilities include:Leading above-country sourcing to ensure the right global supply solutions are in placeManaging suppliers to maximize value for moneyImplementing category strategies for locally sourced goods and servicesSupporting local procurement teams through training capacity building and ad hoc guidanceEnsuring procurement policies procedures and tools are current relevant and well understoodRole purposeThe Global Sourcing and Supplier Manager is responsible for enabling the Strategic Sourcing Team to achieve its objectives as detailed above.
