As an Electronic Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and overhauling aircraft communication and navigation systems, including radar and radio audio units. You’ll carry out precise mechanical and electronic repairs, using specialised test equipment for fault finding and testing. All work will be performed in line with regulatory approvals and the company’s quality system, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and safety.This role involves working across a wide range of technologies, from analogue electronics to complex microprocessor systems and RF circuits.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical and electronic repairs, including through-hole and surface-mounted componentsConduct fault finding, repair, and testing using specialised and general-purpose test equipmentWork in accordance with manufacturer component maintenance manuals, regulatory approvals, and company quality systemsMaintain accurate and legible repair recordsEnsure quality and cost-effectiveness while meeting safety standardsStay up to date with company working practices and proceduresUndertake cross-training in other technical areas as required by the businessQualificationsRelevant technical qualifications at or above NVQ Level 3, HNC, or recognised trade qualificationAlternatively, relevant military education or equivalent experienceBenefitsMedical Cover: Equipsme medical expenses insurance schemeTime Off: 25 days holiday + bank holidaysConvenience: On-site parkingSecurity: Death in Service benefit (4x annual salary)Future Planning: Group Personal Pension PlanPerks: Access to Perkbox
