A leading law firm based in the heart of the city, are now looking for a Legal PA to join their Shipping practice area supporting fee earners including Partners. This is a varied role, and the successful PA will be supporting Partners and fee earners across the team, alongside another PA. Experience within shipping law is not essential however, they are looking for a candidate with experience in corporate/commercial.

Key responsibilities:

  • Diary management
  • Meeting organisation
  • Travel arrangements
  • Acting as a gatekeeper for fee earners, liaising with clients
  • Inbox management
  • Drafting, formatting and checking letters and legal documents
  • Support with billing and recording fee earner time
  • Processing expenses
  • Assist with business development and marketing
  • Opening/closing of matters including compliance
  • Work closely with other team members, providing support where necessary
  • General administration

Key skills and experience:

  • Experience in a similar Legal PA/ Secretarial role within a city law firm
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
