So to make a positive impact connect with us and connect with a fantastic career.Reimagine the possibilities.Your role and responsibilitiesIn this strategic and hands-on role youll collaborate with managers and practitioners in Children and Young People Services (CYP) to design deliver and evaluate innovative learning solutions that equip our workforce with the skills and knowledge to make a real difference in the lives of children young people and families.You will:lead the planning and implementation of learning strategies within your faculty areasupport CYPs transformation initiatives through leading the design of tailored workforce development programmesmanage a team of consultants and coordinators to deliver a comprehensive learning offer overseeing the training and commissioning activity to ensure best value and high impactwork closely with learning and development colleagues across the organisation to ensure joined up and streamlined approaches to learning.You will needTo be a skilled facilitator confident in leading workforce development discussions with practitioners and managers across all levels of the organisation.Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate the impact of learning and development activities.Excellent written communication skills for producing clear reports and designing effective learning programmes.A good understanding of current developments within Children and Young People Services including national social care reforms.The ability to think on your feet and work comfortably in a fast-paced dynamic environment.You can view a full list of requirements in theJob and Person Profile (Word).If you believe you can succeed in this role apply.
