You will be based at our main site in Chilmark Wiltshire but hold responsibility for our secondary location based 5 miles away.The shift patternswill be 4 days on 4days off with a total of 42 hours worked per week.Role ResponsibilitiesResponding to first response alarm callsAlerting second response key holders if and when requiredPatrolling of the premise to ensure safetyKeep an accurate record of any employees or visitors attending the site out of officeAttend our secondary site when requiredSurvey and utilise CCTV where relevantBe the main point of contact for site security during shift timesProvide report of any activity to the in-house Security teamEscalate any major activity to the relevant teams in a fast and agreed timeframe.Ensure any issues with the building itself are reported to the facilities manager for example external lighting defectsEnforce all safety and security related policies at all timesPerform other duties when requiredAbout YouQualifications:SIA License would be advantageous but is not essentialSkills:EssentialExperience in a similar security roleAbility to work alone and under own initiativeA confident approach and the ability to handle confrontation when necessary.Confident with Microsoft applications (Excel Word)Strong attention to detailDesirableExperience of bring solely responsible for building security during a shiftPersonal Attributes:A valid UK driving license would be required due to the need to visit our secondary site as requiredMust be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UKAbility to hold Security Clearance 5 years residence in the UKPlease clickhereto read our privacy noticeCallen-Lenz is an equal opportunities employer committed to building an inclusive working environment.
