Embroidery OperativeMy client a well established manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Blackburn is seeking an experienced production worker to join their embroidery department. As an embroidery operative, you will play a crucial role in the company's production team assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the entire manufacturing process. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 5pm, Friday 8.00 – 4.30pm with a 30 minutes lunch break.Duties:- Assist with receiving and checking goods- Prepare orders for shipment- The right candidate would receive embroidery training to be able to finish off goods if failing on spot checks - therefore using sewing machines to perform basic sewing tasks- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environmentExperience:- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred- Basic sewing skills are advantageous- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus- Ability to use computersSkills:- Sewing: Proficient in basic sewing tasks and operating sewing machines- Warehouse: Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety protocolsJob Type: Full-timePay: From £11.44 per hourBenefits:Company pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:production: 1 year (required)Work Location: In personReference ID: 022
