Placed by Leon is partnering with one of the most respected watch brands in the world on an exceptional leadership opportunity within a luxury department store. We are supporting them in the search for an Assistant Boutique Manager, a role suited to someone with strong people leadership, luxury expertise and a passion for delivering an elevated client experience.Responsibilities:Support the Boutique Director in delivering an exceptional client and employee experience.Lead and inspire a high-performing team of 7, nurturing talent and strong team cohesion.Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients and VIP prospects.Drive CRM and clienteling activity; oversee outreach, events, and networking.Participate in boutique events and represent the brand at internal and external functions.Support commercial performance through analysis, target setting, and strategic action.Manage boutique operations with precision, upholding brand standards at all times.Oversee administrative duties, reporting, and local client-trend analysis.Maintain presentation excellence and support the adoption of new tools and systems.Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance development.RequirementsMinimum 4+ years of luxury retail management (watches or high-value luxury preferred).Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to develop and motivate teams.Deep understanding of luxury clients, service expectations, and the Harrods environment.Strong commercial awareness with experience contributing to business performance.Confident in clienteling strategy, CRM practices, VIP engagement, and networking.Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.Calm, professional communicator with strong emotional intelligence.Self-starter with a collaborative, servant-leadership approach.Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings.Strong computer literacy; SAP knowledge is a plus.High watchmaking knowledge preferred but not essential.If you like the sound of the above and you have the relevant experience, please apply nowThis role comes with a very competitive pool commission and fantastic benefits.
