Freight Co-ordinator

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Freight Operations Co-ordinator for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Egham, Surrey area.Job Role:-The role is extremely varied, and you will become a key member of an operations team, actively involved in managing export and import shipments from start to finish. Duties:-Working to strict deadlines to co-ordinate Worldwide multimodal exports and imports with end to end responsibility (including collections, transport bookings, liaising with overseas agents/ customersAirline booking and processing relevant import/ export documentation Submitting Export Customs entries.Liaising effectively and building close relationships QuotationsRequired Experience:-Experience in exports.AOG knowledgeCustomer service - excellent telephone manner and communication skills.Computer literate.Highly organised with a systematic approach and detail orientated customersWorking hours are Monday - Friday After training will be on call 1 in 4 weekends (paid at an exceptional rate).As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
