Security Officer

Our client operates the city's waterfront event campus – the interconnected M&S Bank Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool - as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter and the Pullman Liverpool Hotel.

Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, they have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, including the Eurovision Song Contest last year and in 2024, they will be hosting Labour Party Conference, in addition to a packed programme of entertainment and business events.

They are looking to recruit a Security Officer to join their Security services team on permanent full-time basis. This role will be working a mixture of day and night shifts.

In this role you would contribute to the safety and security of our client’s premises, staff, guests, and visitors. You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security alarms, CCTV feeds, Security Control Room systems, and other critical systems to ensure the safety and security of their premises and visitors.

Main duties of this role include:

  • Operate, monitor, evaluate and maintain their CCTV surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of their Campus and all their visitors.
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained to ensure it is always secure by strict compliance with their CCTV policy.
  • Be a key contributor to the Security Control Room and Incident Management Processes.
  • Providing a high visibility presence around their premises, to reassure guests and visitors and act as deterrent any hostile activity.
  • Act as first respondent to any security, first aid or emergency that arises on their premises.
