Are you experienced in brokerage and passionate about supporting children and young people in care? Barnsley Council are seeking a proactive Placement & Brokerage Support Officer to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Find and match suitable placements for children and young people entering care, working closely with internal stakeholders and managers.Maintain and update spreadsheets and databases with placement and provider information.Support contract completion and monitor compliance with independent fostering and residential providers.Process payments to providers accurately and promptly.Assist with the accreditation process for providers within the White Rose consortium.Conduct satisfaction surveys with providers to inform future planning.Maintain regular contact with independent service providers across the borough.Attend meetings and follow up on placement-related actions.Provide data and information for internal reports and external enquiries.Support placement panels and follow through on agreed actions.
