Our client is an independant kitchen retailer working with architects, interior designers, developers and private clients.

They offer both British and German brands and are currently looking for an experienced Kitchen Designer for their Showroom based in South Hertfordshire which with direct links to London. They are ideally hoping for an individual who can also be involved in looking after the Showroom and designing the new kitchen displays.


Your role will be mainly handling the retail arm of the business but your remit will also cover some of the smaller, independent developers. You will be working from initial brief through to completion although they do have a great installations team to hand over to.


Skills and Experience needed for the Kitchen Designer:

  • At least 4 years' designing and selling kitchens
  • Good hand-drawing and CAD skills - they use Winner
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Smart and professional
  • Self-motivated and proactive


The role is Monday to Friday with Saturdays by appointment only. In return they are offering a salary of between £27k and £32k plus 10% gross commission of projects (excluding installation).
