Description

  • Manage and optimise the supply chain process, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the Procurement & Supply Chain function to meet the company's operational targets.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  • Handle vendor and supplier negotiations to secure advantageous terms.
  • Oversee risk management processes within the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any supply chain issues.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on the department's performance.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements.

Profile

A successful Supply Chain Specialist should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships and resolving supply chain issues.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
