Are you our first Head of Sales?
For Indies, by Indies Planetary Processing offers a software development toolkit that makes creating and running large online games simple, whilst freeing up game developers to focus on building their games without any of the boring bits
Planetary Processing (PP) is removing the biggest infrastructure roadblocks for game developers when they want to build their first multiplayer game. It enables creative minds to build a prototype in a few hours.
Job Purpose
Unlocking PP’s growth through smart and targeted sales to indie games studios in the UK and/or Germany.
The Ideal Candidate
Thea ideal candidate is a low ego / high impact sales professional and leader who brings equally a passion for indie games (maybe you play yourself?) as well as a track record in sales to this market segment to the table. You understand the pain points small to medium sized games studios feel and know how to win the trust of founder-led developers of innovative online games.
Main responsibilities
⮚ Driving sales in the short, medium and long term.
⮚ Establishing Planetary Processing as the go-to place for indie developers with ambitious.
⮚ Crafting the sales strategy that goes deeper than “where to play and how to win”.
⮚ Setting priorities to achieve ambitious goals.
⮚ Creating a sales funnel with structured processes to spend time wisely whilst utilising the team in the most effective way possible.
⮚ Taking responsibility for the full sales funnel from lead generation and product demo to sales negotiations and partnerships where appropriate.
⮚ Reporting and documentation to learn what works and what doesn’t.
⮚ Acting as a challenger to the CEO and colleagues when it comes to go to market strategy.
