Role: Mechanical Technician Location: Stafford Duration: 6 month Rate: 19/hour PAYE Job Summary. Reporting to the Industrialisation Manager, the ideal candidate will be part the test solution development department team and will have responsibility for the design assistance, build, implementation and support of manufacturing test solutions. A full range of disciplines from Mechanical Assembly, 3D printed parts design, Wiring and testing, Module Test and Functional test solutions The key function of the role will be to provide full support to the Test Solution Development Engineers. The successful candidate will be a team player, with a methodical and structured approach to work and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The role will be based in Stafford UK. Key Responsibilities. Manufacture Electrical and Mechanical Test solutions to the Development Engineering Instructions Provide test solution design support by completing the design of component parts & fixturing using 3D printing and simulation in Solid Works. Support to our outsourcing partners. This will require working as an individual, as part of a team and, where required, in association with Test Solution Providers. Use existing standard approved / industry standard technologies, tools and processes through carefully risk managed implementation plans.
