We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Shift Manager (Nightshift) for one of our clients based in Milton Keynes a global manufacturing companyBenefits: * Life Assurance * Company Pension * Professional development and training plan * Bupa Medical * Bupa Travel * Company bonusDuties & scope of the role: * Manage team and site on the night shift * Control and ensure site KPI's are met including cost and delivery * Adhering to customers service level agreements * Continuous improvement * Improve production yields and reducing unnecessary processes * Implementation of lean manufacturing & 5S * Working closely with other Shift Managers * Co-co-ordinating training and managing labour * Measuring/collating of statistics and reporting * Health, safety and environmental awareness ensuring all factors monitored on shift * Handle disciplinary, grievance, appraisals * We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes: * Previous experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment FMCGExcellent knowledge of the Lean principles * IOSH or NEBOSH * Manufacturing/Engineering Degree (preferred) * Six Sigma or Lean certificationShift pattern:3 shifts per week Sunday/Monday/Tuesday for 4 weeks & Wednesday/Thursday/Friday (Saturdays on a rota during peak period)Quality Personnel acting as an Employment Agency & Business (rated as one of the top 3 Agencies in Milton Keynes for the 4th year running).Please note due to volume of applications you will only be contacted if we are progressing your application
