The Fixed Asset Manager is responsible for the operational management of the company's fixed assets, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with regulations, and the optimisation of asset utilisation. The role ensures the integrity of the fixed asset register, manages asset lifecycle processes (acquisition, tracking, depreciation, and disposal), and contributes to financial planning and risk mitigation efforts focussing on impacts of change in the fixed asset register (depreciation, disposal, impairment etc).

  • Major Projects and Initiatives: Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including:
  • Acquisition: Oversee acquisitions to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Tracking: Implement and maintain systems for monitoring physical location and condition of assets.
  • Depreciation: Calculate and record depreciation in line with accounting standards.
