You will be responsible for the maintenance of various items of plant and for responding to emergency breakdowns of plant on site and throughout the company’s fleet and machinery.Key Responsibilities * Under their own supervision, use a variety of welding, cutting, and abrasive wheel equipment to perform running repairs on a variety of equipment, relative to their assigned location within the quarry * Safely carry out welding, cutting, brazing, hard facing, tacking and any other reasonable instruction * Be responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within a quarry environment during daily job activities * Perform post-work inspections where required * Follow safety procedures diligently at all times i.e., perform welding assembly process in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards and policiesQualifications & Skill Set * Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience; 3-5 years of experience would be preferred * Preferably have a Coded certification in welding or equivalentOur client is offering a competitive hourly rate, NEST Pension, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and medical cover.If you are interested or available for this position, please contact Bradley Salt on (phone number removed)
