Job Summary: As a Site Manager for their flat roofing and waterproofing projects, you'll be instrumental in driving the success of their installations from start to finish. Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Take ownership of flat roofing and waterproofing projects, providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.

  3. Resource Management: Allocate labour, equipment, and materials effectively to optimize productivity and minimize waste, while adhering to project budgets and timelines.
  4. Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols and regulations on-site, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of workmanship and materials, identifying and addressing any deficiencies promptly to uphold the integrity and longevity of installed systems.
  6. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, site logs, and as-built drawings, to facilitate communication, track progress, and support claims and change orders.
  8. Team Development: Mentor and coach site personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement to enhance performance and drive excellence in project execution.

Requirements:

  • Construction Management Experience: Proven experience in site management, preferably in the installation of flat roofing and waterproofing systems or related construction projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of waterproofing systems, construction techniques, and industry best practices, with the ability to interpret design drawings and specifications.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges encountered during project execution and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Health and Safety Certification: Valid certification in health and safety management (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) is preferred.
