An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Logistics and Warehouse Manager with our Company. We are an established construction products distributor servicing London and the South East of England. We are a small expanding company and you will liaise with all departments enabling you to fulfill your role and help you feel part of our successful team.STAFF SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP ABILITYYou must have previous experience in the management of teams as you will be responsible for managing both warehouse staff and drivers. You will have to make sure that they are adequately trained and prepared for their roles and be able to lead by example.INVENTORY CONTROLYou will be required to manage stock movements, undertake periodic stock takes and keep accurate records of goods in and out.OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENTYou will be required to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse operations including receiving, storing, order picking and shipping of goods, including organising courier servicesSAFETY COMPLIANCEYou will be responsible for the general cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse and yard and the enforcing of safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
