Job Summary


My client is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join their innovative Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining the businesses data infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with the organisation’s strategic objectives. You will leverage your expertise in Matillion ETL, AWS Stack, and Redshift to create robust data pipelines that empower our analytics and business intelligence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Matillion ETL to transform and integrate data from various sources into the AWS Redshift data warehouse.
  • Optimise data workflows and ensure efficient data processing and loading.
  • Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in data engineering practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Experience

  • Proven experience with Matillion ETL in designing and building complex data pipelines.
  • Extensive experience with the AWS stack, including services like S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Glue, etc.
  • Proficient in managing and optimising AWS Redshift for large-scale data warehousing.
